BHSA FUNDING
  • Funding Q&A session: February 6th, 2002
  • Mid-year reports: due Friday, Febuary 22th, 2002
  • Limits: The application limit is 20% above BHSA funding received the prior year up to $2000 per group. Any funding above the $2000 per year will require a separate application and will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Funding can be used for any organizational expense
  • Disbursement: Money is disbursed by check each semester after the BHSA approves the budget.

  • Mid-Year Funding Reports:
    By the second week of the spring semester, each organization receiving funds will submit a report detailing the use of the allocation from the previous semester. The report should be as detailed as the initial budget application, justify any changes in the use of BHSA funds from the previous semester, explain any expected changes for the current semester, and include a statement of how much remains from the previous semester's disbursement. The report may include receipts, if requested by BHSA.

4. OFFICE OF STUDENT SERVICES STUDENT FUND
The Fund is intended to benefit the Boalt Community by supporting, both within the walls of Boalt Hall and beyond, activities that will advance the professional and academic development of students and/or help to foster a creative and positive atmosphere at the Law School. Student organizations and individual students are encouraged to apply for funds for special events, organizational expenses, or conference attendance. Applications forms are available in 280 Simon Hall. Contact Holly Parrish if you have questions.

Other Sources of Funding: Student organizations have also been successful seeking funds from the Dean's Office, local law firms, and Boalt alumni.
