consulting firms, and investment banks.
Quarterly Publication
Our quarterly newsletter, will provide 1Ls, 2Ls, and 3Ls the opportunity to
write and publish their own articles. Editorials, book reviews, news in brief, “New
Technology" and "Financial Forum" sections to be included. Additionally
we are cooperating with the Berkeley
Business Law Journal (BBLJ), which is schedule to publish its first issue
in the first quarter of 2004.
Prospective Employer Lunches
Are you interested in working for a top consulting firm, investment bank, or
venture capital firm? Did you know that McKinsey & Company has been the
#1 recruiter at Duke Law School for the three of the past five years? Shouldn’t
Boalt Hall students have the same opportunities to pursue a career in business?
ABSOLUTELY!
Future Developments...
We are currently in contact with
prospective employers from some of the top businesses in the U.S. Our
goal is to bring as many hiring coordinators as possible to Boalt Hall
to meet with interested students. Social Events and Martini Fridays – What
good would a business law forum be if it didn’t know how to have
a little fun? We’re planning a golf outing at Tilden Park for late
October! We also plan to hire a sailboat for an afternoon on the San
Francisco Bay. Our signature event, “Martini Fridays” will
introduce you to some of the finer (read “funner”) bars in
the East Bay.
